ScSB holds an intimate annual conference each year in the Nordic & Baltic region, at which researchers and partners from industry gather to share their latest findings and innovations regarding biomaterials.
Our all-inclusive conferences include keynote presentations by renowned researchers with diverse expertise. They have a highly sociable atmosphere and are typically held in locations far enough from city centres to enable us to infuse the intensive scientific programme with enjoyable outdoor activities and relaxation.
This year’s theme is centred on the wide range of biomaterial applications, right through from their use for studying fundamental cellular behaviours such as mechanotransduction, through to their clinical applications in regenerative therapies. We hope that by covering a broad range of biomaterial topics, including material chemistry, synthesis, engineering, functionalisation and characterisation, as well as exploring their biological interactions and applications in tissue engineering and regenerative medicine, our programme will draw interest from researchers in diverse fields relating to biomaterials research and development.
