The ScSB 2025 meeting was held at the historic Vanajanlinna mansion, located in the scenic countryside just outside Hämeenlinna, Southern Finland. The meeting focused on the vast potential of physiologically relevant biomaterials and their transformative applications in both medical and biomedical fields. In addition to the excellent oral and poster presentations, we had the pleasure of having five keynote talks and award talks by two ScSB awardees. Beyond the scientific agenda, a range of social events was organized for networking and building connections with both Scandinavian and international experts in the field.
